Owens Orthodontics began in July 1968, when Knoxville orthodontist Dr. Richard M. Bowles opened Bowles Orthodontics. In 1970, he expanded his practice and became the first orthodontist to establish a permanent practice in the nearby town of Maryville, TN. Today, Dr. Mark Owens and Dr. Newsom Baker work together in the practice. They abide by the philosophy that every patient is unique and every smile requires a personalized approach and custom treatment plan. Drs.
