Owens Orthodontics began in July 1968, when Knoxville orthodontist Dr. Richard M. Bowles opened Bowles Orthodontics. In 1970, he expanded his practice and became the first orthodontist to establish a permanent practice in the nearby town of Maryville, TN. Today, Dr. Mark Owens and Dr. Newsom Baker work together in the practice. They abide by the philosophy that every patient is unique and every smile requires a personalized approach and custom treatment plan. Drs. Owens and Baker have completed advanced specialty training that allows them to strictly limit their practice to orthodontics. Patients can rest assured that this team has the experience and the focus to provide the best orthodontic care possible.

Today, Dr. Mark Owens has an established practice in this beautiful city. His philosophy is that every patient is unique and every smile requires a personalized approach and custom treatment plan. Drs. Owens has completed advanced specialty training that allows him to strictly limit the practice to orthodontics. Patients can rest assured that this team has the experience and the focus to provide the best orthodontic care possible.

Qualifications

  1. Open to all levels of experience with a growth/leadership mindset, 1+ year of experience preferred 
  2. Full-time opportunity (4 days per week)
  3. DDS/DMD from an accredited dental education program
  4. Certificate of completion of residency from an accredited postgraduate Orthodontic program
  5. Current, valid license to practice dentistry in state of Tennessee
